- For thorough cleansing, apply your favourite shampoo twice. First, wash your hair lightly to lift its natural oils. Then wash it again, stimulating the scalp vigorously to cleanse hair and scalp. The second wash also stimulates the increase of blood flow, which helps to promote hair growth and to stabilize sebum imbalances.
